Happy Anniversary to Me! Today is gonna be a great day. Today is my 1 year anniversary of the start of my heart-healthy journey. 40+ lbs down only 13 more to go to match the weigh on my drivers license. Stupid milestone, I know but it's the only one I could think of that seemed attainable. In total I've still got about 40 more to go. Knowing that I can do 40 in a year and this year flew by, another 40 doesn't seem so daunting.
I'm taking this day to be sickeningly self-appreciative, self-agrandizing, self-congratulatory & self-absorbed. (Yeah, I know. It's just like any other day in the life of...) If you're around me, I make no apologies. Just know it will be over by tomorrow.
